OFF TO MARKET!May 15th, 2010
Hello Everyone! How many of us spend hours upon hours making that perfect sewing gift for our children so that they will always have a gift from our heart. I’m in the process of making a Bloomin’ Nine Patch quilt for my youngest son with a golfing theme - one of the fabrics are photos of our family transferred to fabric so he will have all of us with him as he goes out in the world. The Bloomin’ project was a class taught by Lynn Yates last year and I actually finished the quilt and loved the quick results. I loved it soooo much that I had a die custom made for the Accu-Cut because the cutting process was too long. With the Accu-Cut, I can cut the entire quilt in about 10 minutes. Love it!!! Lynn will be teaching the Bloomin’ Nine Patch class in July so be sure to sign up and make this stunning quilt. Also, if you want us to cut the quilt for you, just purchase your fabric at SWI and the quilt will be cut (FREE!) and ready for you to sew - even if you don’t want to take the class. We’re getting ready to go to Spring Market in Minneapolis - and you know what that means, the After Market Preview will follow. The date has been set - June 5th, 10:00am - 2:00pm - refreshments, specials, and lots of great NEW products. New to this area will be two NEW embroidery designer - you won’t want to miss it.
