Happy Holidays! We would like to wish all of you the happiest of holidays and the healthiest New Year! It's hard to imagine that 2010 is here. Lots of activities are planned for both the Sarasota and Ft Myers Sew Worth It shops! Be sure to check the schedule to stay up-to-date on our classes and events for the coming New Year! Some dates you won't want to miss:
January 1st, 2010, we will have our Annual New Year's Day Sale! Store-wide sale: Mettler thread 30% off, Christmas and Halloween kits 40% off, books and patterns 25% off, fat quarters are 5 for $7 (while supplies last - we will not be cutting fat quarters during the sale, so be sure to get there early), one yard bundles are $6 and everything else 20% off - that's right, fabric 20% off. - the hours are 12:00 - 3:00. Discounts may not be combined with other promotions and/or discounts. We want to get you off to a sewfabulous start in the New Year!

January 2nd, 2010, 10:00-12:00 at our Sarasota location and 2:00-4:00 at our Ft Myers location, we will have our Class Preview Event - this is the time to see all the new classes and events at Sew Worth It planned for the first four months. We are reducing our class size to allow more individualized attention from the educators, so make sure you sign up early. The Preview does not require a prior reservation - first come first get a seat!

Also, we are having a JOHN DEER EVENT (no not the tractor guy - the "all about embroidery" guy! You will learn how to get the most out of your embroidery machine and get great results! The John Deer Event will be held at our old Sew Worth It location (5507 Palmer Crossing Circle).


And, if you haven't heard, we have opened our new Sew Worth It in Ft Myers on Colonial Boulevard and Six Mile Cypress (Kohl's shopping center). It is fabulous and has lots of new fabrics. The Ft Myers SWI has completely different fabrics than the Sarasota SWI. If you dropped by last week when we first opened, you need to come by now - lots more fabric!!!! Our GRAND OPENING for the Ft Myers SWI will be held on January 16th, 2010, 9:30-4:00. There will be give-aways, refreshments, a drawing for a free BabyLock sewing machine, and demonstrations. We don't want to leave out our Sarasota SWI, so we will have a bus going back and forth all day long between the two stores. No reservations required and the seating is on a first come first serve basis. The bus holds 30 people and you will be entertained by Steve on one bus and Betty's husband on the other. You'll want to see all the different fabrics at both stores and this is a great way to have fun and let us do the driving.

We're making a change at our Sarasota SWI location - the hours on Saturdays will change to 9:30-4:00. If you need anything and you know it is going to be after 4:00 on a Saturday, just give us a call and we'll see what we can do to accomodate you.
